phase.fitness for coaches and personal trainers

Write the periodized program in phase.fitness; it lands in the app your athlete already trains in — Hevy, Garmin, Intervals.icu or Liftosaur — under their own account, on a permission they granted and can take back. No client app to make them install, no credentials to collect.

The short answer

phase.fitness is the planner, not another place your athlete has to log a set. You write the program — phases, weekly volume bands, the order of hard days — and each session is delivered into the app they already open at the rack or on the road. What they actually did comes back the same way: loads and reps from the strength app, duration and heart rate from the watch, matched to the plan. Garmin activities shape the next block only if your athlete allows it.

Your athlete trains where they already train

The reason coaching platforms lose athletes is the client app: a second place to log a set, next to the one they already like. phase.fitness does not ask for that. The program you write is pushed as real sessions into Hevy, Liftosaur, Garmin Connect or Intervals.icu, and what they did comes back the same way.

The connection belongs to the athlete. They link their own apps to their own phase.fitness account; you get a permission to use that bridge on their behalf, never the keys that hold it up. phase.fitness cannot show you their tokens, because no screen and no route exposes them.

Three permissions, given one at a time

Trust is granted in steps, so the permissions are three rather than one switch. An athlete can show you their training for a month before letting you write anything.

  • See my training — workouts, calendar and progress, read-only.
  • Write my program — create and change phases, workouts and the schedule.
  • Send to my apps — push planned sessions to Hevy, Garmin, Intervals.icu or Liftosaur.

What no permission ever grants, by design and not by omission: their profile, their billing and subscription, and the credentials behind their integrations. The link is not transitive either — your coach does not see your athletes.

Strength, cardio and calisthenics in one plan

phase.fitness is the only planner that writes all three into the same periodized program, on one calendar and against one recovery budget — or any single one of them. That matters most for the athletes who are hardest to program by hand: the runner who lifts, the Hyrox competitor, the climber who needs straight-arm strength as work and not as a warm-up.

The phases, weekly bands and set counts come from a knowledge base of thirty-four documents with their references attached, so you can check where a number comes from instead of trusting it. The program pages show what phase.fitness writes for twenty-one sports before you generate anything.

Who pays for a generation

You do. When you generate or rebuild a program for an athlete, the AI credits come out of your plan, not theirs. A coach who could draw on a client's balance would be spending someone else's money, and the client would find out from their own credit counter — which is the wrong way to learn it.

How do I get access?

Leave your email on this page. phase.fitness opens coaching one coach at a time, and you get a reply from a person with access and a walkthrough.

Do I need my athlete's Hevy or Garmin password?

No, and phase.fitness is built so you cannot have it. Your athlete connects their own apps to their own account and grants you a permission; phase.fitness never shows or exports their credentials to you.

What does my athlete have to agree to?

Three permissions, given one at a time and revocable at any moment from their own account: see my training, write my program, send to my apps. phase.fitness shows them which ones you have and when they were granted.

Does my athlete need to install anything?

No. That is the point of phase.fitness for coaches: your athlete keeps training in Hevy, Liftosaur, Garmin Connect or Intervals.icu, and the program you write shows up there as real sessions.

Whose AI credits does a generation spend?

Yours. In phase.fitness the coach pays: you spend your own credits on your own plan, even when the program belongs to your athlete, so nobody spends someone else's balance.

Is phase.fitness a coaching business platform?

No — phase.fitness writes the periodized program and delivers it into your athlete's app. Invoicing, messaging and selling programs stay where you already do them.

What does coaching cost?

The beta is free, and phase.fitness will tell the coaches on this list before that ever changes.
